Our Additional Learning Needs Co-ordinator is: Mrs. R. Bartholomew.
Mrs. Bartholomew has an overview of the whole school’s Classroom Provision, Universal Learning Provision and Additional Learning Provision, but in our school, class teachers are responsible for the individual needs of your child - and, when at ALP level, for writing pupils’ Individual Development Plan’s (IDP) - not Mrs. Bartholomew, as they are the most informed about your child and their progress.
As part of her role, Mrs Bartholomew regularly gains updates about learners and their progress, and takes an active role in the writing and reviewing of ULP and IDP plans after class teachers have provided the initial input.
If you need to speak to Mrs. Bartholomew or your child’s class teacher regarding ALN, please pop into school to make an appointment or ring the office. Thank you.
