Forest Schools
Welcome to Forest Schools
We are delighted to offer Forest School sessions for our pupils with Mrs. Groves. We enjoy being outside with nature and have loved making autumn wreathes, collecting colours of the rainbow, building bug hotels and learning how to light fires safely.
Before we start Forest School with your child, please would you click on the link below to read our Clyro Church in Wales Forest Schools handbook. All parents must read our Forest School handbook and sign their parental consent form to say they have done so, before children can take part in any of our planned activities. Unfortunately, if this is not returned to school your child will have to remain in school and cannot take part in sessions.
Class 3 have been enjoying Forest Schools Sessions this term! They helped cut back the trees and created a dye using some of the apple tree bark.
Class 3 had a fantastic session climbing trees- they were so brave climbing as high as they could and were great team workers when giving help and advice about how to climb safely.
During Forest Schools, Class 3 enjoyed making Pesto and creating artwork celebrating the smells of nature.
