Clyro Pre School
Clyro Pre-School is based in Clyro Church in Wales School and is run by our
Setting Leader, Rowan Kennedy Brown.
We offer quality childcare for 3 and 4 year olds, open Monday to Friday 8-3:30pm (Term time only).
Currently, we are a new Setting under the School and are CIW (Care Inspector Wales) registered delivering the Curriculum for Wales.
Our Pre School setting offers the Childcare Offer for Wales and Educational Funded Hours. Children who are eligible can access 30 hours FREE childcare.
We are also registered with Tax Free Childcare.
As the Pre School is part of the school we join in with planned activities and celebrations with the school.
We also join in with the rest of the school for lunch in the main hall, as well as having access to the brilliant spaces around the school including the 'street', library and outside school grounds.
The Pre School have planned activities throughout the week including Music Monday, Buddy Play with Years 5 and 6, Wobble Wednesday and join in with Celebration Assembly on Friday morning with the school children from Reception to Year 6.
Our space is warm and inviting with several play areas set up including a role play kitchen, construction, cars, books and reading, sensory and arts and crafts.
The children are encouraged to join in with singing time every morning with a welcome song, nursery rhymes and carry out learning circle time together.
We encourage free play as well as structured planned play. Staff encourage educational learning linked to the children's play of choice and interests.
We currently have spaces at Clyro Pre School. Rowan and Chris, who run our Clyro setting, are there everyday ready to welcome anyone who would like to visit our setting, please get in touch.
