Breakfast Club

At Clyro Church in Wales Primary School, we want every child to have a happy, healthy and positive start to their school day. Our popular Breakfast Club provides a welcoming, relaxed and safe environment where children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, spend time with friends and get ready for the day ahead.

A great start to the day

Children attending Breakfast Club can enjoy:

• a healthy and nutritious breakfast, in line with government guidance and our Healthy School ethos

• time to play, chat and socialise with friends

• opportunities to make new friends from other classes

• a safe, secure and familiar environment with our caring Breakfast Club staff

• a calm and positive start to the day, helping children arrive in class settled and ready to learn.

Breakfast Club can also make busy mornings a little easier for families, giving parents and carers the reassurance that their children are safe, happy and well supervised before the school day begins.

Times and Cost

Breakfast Club runs every school morning from 8.00am to 9.00am in the school hall and costs £2 per session.

Last breakfast is served at 8.30am and last admission is at 8.40am.

After breakfast, children can enjoy a range of activities before joining their classes for the start of the school day. We also add a little extra excitement with our weekly breakfast ‘specials’!

Joining Breakfast Club

If you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club or would like to find out more, please speak to Miss Burnett-Thomas, our Breakfast Club Supervisor, Mrs Green, our Breakfast Club Assistant, or contact the school office.
