Clyro CiW Primary School Multi-Faith Day 2023

View our third multi-faith day at Clyro Church in Wales Primary School. We are the only Powys Church in Wales school to have held a Multi-Faith Day to promote and celebrate our diversity and differences, learn about each other and develop our values of understanding, respect and empathy.

PROJECT TOUCHLINE 2023

Being part of the Brecon and Swansea Diocese creates a special community of schools, promoting our values which are integral to the Curriculum for Wales, as well as being life-long values.

In the Autumn term of 2023, Project Touchline completed a 6-week block of sessions that allowed all pupils to explore and put into practise our Christian values through PE, and collective worship.

Chris Andrews, a qualified sports coach and reverend, ran the programme in all classes.

A video of the journey can be found here: https://youtu.be/JF4cqaKuAVc?feature=shared

Clyro CiW Primary School Project Touchline, Diocese of Swansea and Brecon

A very special six week programme to this small village school within the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon and the Church in Wales, as part of a diocesan wide programme across all thirteen schools. A lunchtime prayer club was planted in the second week with hope for legacy.
