Mighty Oaks After School Club

Mighty Oaks After School Club, run by the registered charity "The Friends" of Clyro School, is open Monday-Friday 3:30 until 5:30pm, operating in the school hall. As we are now part-funded by a National Lottery grant, we are able to offer an amazing price of £5.50 per session! We will also be working towards registering with CIW, allowing further help with the cost through Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit.​

Mighty Oaks is an activity-based club and we change our activities half termly. Activities include gardening, sports, arts & crafts, science, construction, nature and many more. Each child has a healthy snack straight after school. The club is parent run by Mrs. Jo Runciman, one of the parents, who is Level 3 in Playwork. There are always two members of staff who are all DBS checked, food hygiene and Safeguarding trained. ​
